Jody Victor Statement Retractions

Jody Victor of the IBOA board has taken exception to statements published on this site on a page saying they are false and untrue.   Upon receipt of Mr. Victor's letter I immediately removed the page from the Internet.    Unfortunately, the statements published on my site were not prefaced as   "allegations" and were stated to be construed as a statement of fact.   Since Mr. Victor has taken issue with them I must retract them.   The basis for the allegations came from site visitors, who I thought to be reliable.

The comments on my site included remarks about the long standing and widely known rumor of the retouching of  Joe  and Helyna Victor's family Crown picture in the corporate headquarters to remove the picture of Mr. Victor's alleged first wife, Linda.  Mr. Victor cites a letter from Quixtar claiming that the Crown portraits of Jody and Kathy have never been retouched.  In Mr. Victor's letter, he states that Linda never appeared in any Crown family portrait as evidenced by the statements in Quixtar's letter.   Quixtar's letter never mentions Linda and never mentions the crown portrait of Joe and Helyna.  Quixtar's letter only refers to Jody and Kathy's crown portraits.

In Mr. Victor's rebuttal of my statement that  "Mr. Victor only "periodically qualified as emerald", Mr. Victor did not state what his pin level actually is.    He let the readers refer to the Quixtar letter for the answer.  The Quixtar letter states Mr. Victor currently qualifies for "Executive Diamond Club".  "Executive Diamond Club",  is however a leadership trip and forum and not a Quixtar pin level.   All Executive Diamonds in good standing may attend the "club" trip, but it is also possible that all participants in ED Club are not necessarily executive diamond or above.   Since Executive Diamond Club it is a leadership meeting, I would think all IBOA board members would take part, regardless of their pin level.  I asked Mr. Victor directly if he qualifies currently for the Executive Diamond Pin to cut to the chase.   This would mean he has  9 qualifying legs, or 10 FAA point and he earns a diamond bonus.

Quixtar did deny that Mr. Victor was being kept on the board due to any special help from the corporation.  Quixtar stated that all IBOA members are nominated by members of the board themselves and elected by members of the board.

To mitigate the issue for both Mr. Victor and myself, I make this retraction of the statements on the page "victor_prince.html".
