David Steadson - Official Amway Zealot?

david_steadson.gif (78033 bytes)One has to wonder where David Steadson (aka Insider, IBOfightback) finds all the time and energy to continue his privately financed war to improve Amway's reputation.  I mean, he is a Amway distributor too, isn't he?    Shouldn't he be hanging out hunting fresh meat for Amway in the malls or stalking around in book stores looking for new victims instead of spending his time maintain, editing and trolling the internet for other blogs to post on?   Doesn't he need to be out showing the plan or going to open meetings and telling people how they can be financially free in 2-5 years with Amway?   It's like what pro Amway people write me all the time.   If he would only spend the amount of time on his business that he spends promoting Amway, then he would be a diamond by now!

It appears David Steadson has no less than 14 websites (see list below) dedicated to promoting Amway's reputation, and he is not "officially employed" by Amway(?).    On the other hand, he calls me a zealot and I only have one website!    If I am a zealot then he is the triple diamond crown dragon master zealot.

I am single with no kids so I had time for one site.   Steadson on the other hand has a child and most likely the mother of his child to deal with.   Well of course, if his obsession with Amway's reputation has not driven her away by now.    Where does he find the time to be the Internet's positive Blogger for Amway, hold  possibly a job, and be an Amway distributor, if someone is not paying him to do this full time?   Maybe he doesn't sleep.

I guess David believes Amway's PR department of Beth Dornan and Robin Luymes are falling down on the job and Steadson has to take things into his own hands now.    The internet war, as he terms it, is not going "Am's..way" and he is bound and determined to outperform the PR depart of a multi-billion dollar firm.

I did a little googling and found David Steadson's own version of google bombing for Amway.   All these sites I believe are all controlled by David Steadson, who of course is "not paid to do this".   I guess if Amway and Quixtar got spanked for google bombing then they need to have a shill like David Steadson to continue the job for them.

oh, and don't forget the 79 videos about Amway he maintains on youtube.com

In a recent Article on his site, Mr. Steadson vents his frustration that the negative sites, despite his own google bombing campaign, still have far better traffic than his flagship site, thetruthaboutamway.  Well what can I say, maybe nobody wants to read the the same boring and repetitive articles that all positive Amway people post on the internet.

Not only does it appear that Mr. Steadson spends considerable time on these sites, but he is a frequent editor of the Wikipedia listing for Amway.  In his latest article, on thetruthaboutamway, Steadson cries about people now employing his own tactic of constantly monitoring and immediately modifying articles for Amway on various Wiki's.   He doesn't like it when people modify the articles as fast as he did.  It's more work for him, I guess.       He even started his own "Wiki" site after he found he could not control the quixtarwiki site to his liking.  That was a good move, he can control better what gets posted there.

If Steadson is not paid by somebody then this quote from Forbes magazine rings true:

"One must turn outside the world of business - to religion and politics - to find people who work as hard for as little financial reward as most Amway people do." Forbes Magazine Dec 9, 1991
