Lines
of Sponsorship Offer |
| In the last few months several Quixtar distributors have written me telling me
about their personal shopping portals that in addition to giving prospects a teaser
introduction to the Quixtar business, allow the distributor to actually sell products
online through their own personal "web store". The lines of affiliation are starting to differentiate themselves from one another more and more these days. I have discovered three lines of affiliation that offer some sort of personal shopping portal so that distributors can bump up their retail sales. It will be interesting to see how the other lines of affiliation react to this development in the business. Of course the main reason why most Quixtar distributors are unprofitable is that they do not have enough retail sales. The business was typically built on the self consumption model of 100-150PV per month. When one includes the typical system costs, the average distributor will always be losing money. The total bonus pay out to all distributors from 100-150PV in sales might be from $95 to about $143, yet system expenses for some groups can be as high as $250/month. This means the average distributor has a built in loss of at least $100/month. In many cases the distributors' mileage deductions exceeds their Quixtar bonus alone. But, that is another topic.... These personal shopping portals are a refreshing sign that some line of affiliation leaders might be interested in getting more retail sales so that the individual distributor can actually make a profit. QuixtarNow, Quixtar Corporation has entered the "cookie-cutter" site arena and is
allowing Quixtar distributors to market Quixtar products via their own distributor site.
All for free. The limitation is that only those categories are viewable at the site and the full
scope of the entire Quixtar line of products still must be accessed at the main Quixtar
site after the site visitor/prospective client signs up. Here is one for example. Britt WorldwideBritt is using the "One Domain" program. With one domain you can
have a custom website with your own company name on it. Once prospects
and customers log in, they can shop for a set of products and submit orders to you.
The website can have a marketing focus in four different areas:: Product Shopping How Shopping Works The BWW complete package costs $14.95/month plus $87.95/year. The starter package costs $14.95 per month. Worldwide Dream BuildersWWDB is using the "my.biz" program and is part of their Premier Membership program. There are more details in these documents. Guide About My.biz With the WWDB premier membership for $39.95/month you also get large discounts on BSMs. ($2.50 for tapes and CDs) iTeamUSASite visitors have also told me about iTeamUSA. I found some hits with a google search. You can see an example of their personal portal with this link. I think it looks pretty good. I like this portal layout since I do not need to have a password to first get on the site and shop. If I see something I like, I could create an account online and buy the item right away. However, sooner or later as these types of sites flood the search engines the sales from random surfers will no doubt trickle down to nothing as more and more selling outlets are available to chose from. iTeamUSA actually will guarantee your profitability within 90 days, at least according to their website. I don't have much information in iTeamUSA and I do not know what their web store portal costs. If site visitors have more information on this group please write me. |
