| A site visitor made the suggestion that I have a page
to explain the various "pin" awards and what they might earn from Quixtar.
Quixtar awards lapel pins for achieving various sales levels of Quixtar product.
For those new to the business, a "pin" is the term used in the
Quixtar business to say what level or what "rank" a distributor has.
Typically a distributor is recognized by the highest pin he was ever awarded, and not the
"pin" he currently is earning. It is relatively easy for a
distributor to fall back in pin level as people quit or businesses split off. The sales level for various pins is measured in "PV", and not actual sales dollars. Each product has a "PV value", which is assigned by Quixtar. The first leadership position in Quixtar is Platinum. To qualify for the basic pin you need 6 months of qualifying volume in a 12 month period. For those above Platinum there are additional awards called "Founders" awards. A founder's award is usually for groups that have qualifying volume for each downline for 12 consecutive months. The income of higher pins (Platinum+) can be rather complex to calculate and you can

 Silver |
Generate Award Volume of at least 7,500, or Sponsor one 25% group and have at least 2,500 Award Volume, or Sponsor at least two 25% groups in the same month, or Foster sponsor one 25% group and have at least 2,500 Award Volume, exclusive of the pass-up PV from the groups between you and the foster-sponsored 25% group. Internationally sponsored groups may not be used for Silver Producer qualifications. |
