Does the IBOA have ties to Qrush?

Well it finally got here.   Yes, Jody Victor's paper copy of the E-mail he sent to me and that was posted on the IBOA website finally got to me on January 6, 2005.  This was not a very good example for FedEx who was tasked with sending me this very important document.  The document was sent on 12/13/2005 from the "IBOA International" in Grand Rapids, MI.  Ok, I do live in Germany but it should not take FedEx 24 days to send an international letter.  I am also curious why the IBOA sent it and not Jody Victor.

So what happened with the delivery.   Well you can't blame FedEx, they got the letter to the wrong address in two days.   I think FedEx could be proud of this performance despite the wrong address.  Well, what what went wrong then?   Well first of all they used a street address I had that was over 2.5 years old.  No wonder FedEx could not deliver it.  So how did FedEx track me down to finally deliver the letter?   Well for sure they did not look in the Saarbrücken phone book, where they would have only found one Larsen.    There were 704 hits for Larsen in the entire German internet phone book, but only one hit for Scott Larsen.    We can't say that FedEx are good detectives in this case.  So how did they get a my correct address?  Well, they called me at my work phone number and asked for the address.  Pretty simple right?

So when the nice man from FedEx called me once more telling my my street in Saarbrücken did not exist, I asked him where he had gotten my work phone number.    Mr. Linnenberg said that he got if from the sender, the IBOA in Grand Rapids, MI.  Now, the IBOA never wrote a contact phone number on the FedEx International Air Waybill.   Now the IBOA and I have never exchanged phone numbers so there is no real way for them to have had this number.  I assume the time delay from Dec. 15th to Jan. 4th was the time needed for the IBOA to find the number and get it to FedEx.

Putting Together the Pieces
Now this is where the story starts to get interesting.  My work phone number is not accessible to just anyone and not accessible to anyone who does not have access to my employer's private E-mail system.  Maybe you can accuse me of reading too many Tom Clancy spy books, but with that reading I learned that using specific information, that is not readily known can also reveal information about the source.   So it is very strange that the IBOA, who could have more easily found me  via public sources, gives FedEx a telephone number that would be very difficult to come upon.   Due to the delay I assume that the IBOA was not able to come upon my work phone number until their insider at my employer got back from the Christmas holidays on January 3rd.  On the 4th of Jan. FedEx first contacted me.

So how could the phone number from my employer's private Intranet site fall in to the hands of the IBOA?  Well my employer has several facilities in the US and has a large development and applications facility in the Michigan.   No doubt many of the lines of sponsorship have large networks of distributors in Michigan.  I'm sure these lines of sponsorships or even IBOA board members have distributors who also work for my employer.

Now there has been another time when information from my employer's non-public Intranet site has been made public and that was by our good blogging buddy Qrush.    Yes, Qrush that anonymous blogger and character defender of IBOs everywhere who falsely declared I was a sadomasochistic homosexual, posted a word-for-word copy of my job responsibilities and duties and my bosses name on his blog.  Apparently Qrush was not impressed with what I did as an engineer and had to write about it.   That information was only available on my employer's Intranet website in June of 2003.

I can only assume there is a guy at my employer who gives the IBOAI and Qrush information about me.

There is another connection between Qrush and an IBOA board member and that is from excerpts that Qrush posted from a 1999 letter I had written to my Amway sponsor who was downline from Billy Florence (IBOA member).  I can only assume that a copy of the letter landed into the hands of Billy Florence of the IBOA.  Since I was already an active Internet critic of Amway/Quixtar, I assume the Amway/Quixtar Gestapo had already started a file on me and had a copy of this letter saved.  There was no reason for anyone to save that letter to later have it end up on Qrush's website unless someone in the Florence organization had not decided to save it for posterity.

I can also assume they have copies of the photos from a private detective a line of sponsorship had put on me in 2003.  Several site visitors have told me about the private detectives hired by the lines of sponsorship to try to dig up dirt on me.  As far as I know, all they got were photos of me riding my bicycle!

Curiously enough, Bill Florence's website has a link to Qrush's site posted by Margaret Ross. Other IBOAI board members began setting up links to the some of the pages on Qrush's site that still are active.

So is there a connection between the IBOA and Qrush?  I can not prove it but these incidents are very curious indeed.
