"I told them my number one job was to make sure they had a spot reserved in Amway/Quixtar when they got out of school"

devos_jobs.jpg (12801 bytes) Hi all. Hope you had a nice Easter weekend. Well it's a beautiful Michigan Monday and today it was Grand Rapids (home of Amway!), Marshall, Jackson, Southfield, Troy, Clinton Township and back to Grand Rapids. Kind of a scenic tour of Michigan all in one day..but with the longer days of spring, at least most of it was done in the daylight.

Among the numerous stops today, the most energizing was the stop at Jackson High School where I met a wonderful woman named Ms. Pitts and the Black History Tour Group. Not only did they sing powerfully, but they carry an important message to Michigan and the nation. In their 12 years of performing, they have reminded all of us of the tragedy of racism, the pride we can all feel for our heritage, and that hope remains for all people in America. It couldn't have been more inspiring and encouraging. My voice joins theirs in calling for a brighter day tomorrow for all of us.

While times remain difficult in Michigan, HOPE in our family's soap remains and I assure them, and all of you, that I will keep fighting to keep that hope in our soap! When I told them my number one job was to make sure they had a spot reserved for them in the Amway/Quixtar business when they got out of school, they broke into spontaneous applause. Together we can make change happen!  For those people in school, we will take their names and hold their place in line as we build the pyramid below them.   When they decide to get in the business they will already have a leg built for them.

We cannot rely on jobs to help our young people.  We must give them the hope in my family's soap.   Jobs are for losers.  My family's soap business has helped millions achieve financial success.   We do not need more jobs, we need more hope filed independent business owners powered by Amway/Quixtar!

To help convince your young people that jobs are for losers we are inviting some of Amway/Quixtar's most successful people to speak to the high school and college students.   Bill Britt and Dexter Yager will go on the speaking circuit to convince high school and college students they are wasting their time studying for a career.     You can be an Amway/Quixtar distributor and make millions without wasting your time going to school.

"If you have a J.O.B., you may be Just Over Broke.   Your employers' objective was to keep the position filled for as little as possible. If you had a J.O.B., you might not know it, but the word job was a Latin word. The root word’s original meaning was "jobus operandi," which translates today into "Jerk On Board", or so the joke goes.   Knowing the above, if you chose to spend the rest of your life working at a job for a boss, most likely you were a "Jackass Of the Boss."

"Do you believe me? Those of you who don't believe just stay poor it's okay. We have things for you folks it's called jobs. We now condemn you to a job. You know we need poor people we'd be lost without poor people in this country. Who would put the water in the water lines and the sewer in the sewer lines and the electricity in the electric lines and clean the streets and wash the streets and make the streets and who would construct these buildings. You never see a ad in the paper need wealthy guys to build a building. If you would put an in the paper for construction people they automatically know minimum wage. Amen. You want the poorest guys to do it. No I have no offense against poor people I was one for thirty-eight years. Most of my family is still poor. But they talk about me now."

"The only way your soul prospers is when you love god. Only way when you love god then you fulfilling Joshua one eight. And that means that your speaking gods words. That this mouth is speaking his words and not against his words. Amen. You all hear me? That's where you power seed is. Speaking his words under his banner. Amen. I'm not trying to preach I'm trying to see that's why ninety eight percent of people are broke in this country they go to universities that teach them poverty."

"What about a dentist down in the mouth? How would you like to play in spit the rest of your life? How would you like to get on your toes and play in spit. You know the last time I went to my dentist it looked like he was going to Mars. He had on masks, and gloves and covers and everything. That's right I'm glad I'm not a dentist no offense meant..."
Until next time,
