Amway Diamond Finds Quest of His Search

Australia (APP) - Successful Australian Amway Diamond Dave Bradley has found the quest of his search.  Bradely was upset with two publications that seemed to have missed his participation as a ball player for one of Britain's best soccer teams, the Manchester United.   Previous editions of the Complete Encyclopedia of Manchester United  and The Official Manchester United Illustrated History failed to list Dave in their roster roll calls.

Dave admits the reasons for his absence from the official history books can now easily be explained.   Dave was recruited as an apprentice to the Manchester United Club in 1974 at the age of just 16.  Dave singed on the team in 1975 with a wave of new recruits, as is done each year to see how they pan out.  Only the very best players will later be selected for the legendary first time.   Dave stated "I never made the first team of Manchester United, and I never made an appearance or a substitution for the legendary Manchester United first team.   If the new recruits don't show promise for the first team, then they are usually culled.   After two years, United loaned me out to Wimbledon   A year later in the culling from United, I was transferred to the Belle Vue team."

The book publishers reported that usually only playing members of the Manchester United first team actually get included in the history books.  Since Dave was insistent they stopped the presses and added his name to this year's 2007 addition.

Dave's Career   David was an ex-England schoolboy, having joined Rovers in the summer of 1978 from Manchester United in a 10,000 pound move. He had joined United from school as an apprentice in April 1974, signing as a professional in January 1975, and although he never made their first team, was a consistently outstanding player in their Central League side. He became an England schoolboy international whilst at Old Trafford. United then loaned him to Wimbledon shortly before his transfer to Belle  Vue. Rovers sold him to Bury in August 1980.  In 1981 he stopped playing for Bury.
