Baghdad Bob turns to motivational
speaking
|

| Spokane, Washington (APP) Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf Iraq's former minister of Information, better known as Baghdad Bob, has turned out to be Amway/Quixtar's latest hit motivational speaker. | |
|
Famous for his bubbling
optimism and positive attitude despite all odds, Baghdad Bob has reappeared on the public
scene as a motivational speaker of all things. "Baghdad Bob", shown here at a Amway/Quixtar convention, gave his motivational talk about the last days of the Iraqi regime, during which it was imperative to keep a positive mental attitude despite the overwhelming evidence that Sadam's regime was going to collapse and lose the war. Al-Sahhaf noted that he has always been a great fan of Amway/Quixtar's great motivational leader, Dexter Yager. "Ever since I heard of Dexter and his famous quote 'if the dream is big enough the facts don't matter', I have always tried to apply this wisdom to my job as Information Minister in Iraq", said Al-Sahhaf. Al-Sahhaf explained, "Even up until the very end of the war, we were confident we would win because we knew our dream was bigger than that of America's. Of course then the facts just did not matter, and it was evident in my press conferences. Well, unfortunately in the end the facts did matter and we were overrun by the Americans." |

Al-Sahhaf went to show the parallel between the Amway/Quixtar business and his experience in Iraq. He explained that even though the facts show that the typical distributor is losing thousands of dollars and working hundreds of hours per year in the business for free, that it is still no reason to give up the dream of being a millionaire and retiring with unlimited residual income from Amway/Quixtar. |
