MonaVie like product at Sam's Club
(for less than half the price)

Sam's club is now carrying a MonaVie like product called "Fut A Vie" with a price of $17.24 per bottle in contrast to $39 for MonaVie's.  The Sam's Club product has an Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) score of 3500 per oz. versus 1027 per gram  for MonaVie.   I don't know if the Sam's Club product is using the correct units since the scientific community usually uses the metric system, i.e. grams.   The ORAC score is a test tube analysis that measures the antioxidant levels of food and other chemical substances. If a food has a high ORAC score, then it means the food is high in antioxidants. The antioxidant’s strength is its ability to eliminate oxygen free radicals.

Sam's also sells a product that competes with another MLM, Xango.  It is interesting to see how traditional retailers can undercut the MLM's by over 50% for similar products.   Here is an interesting page on "The Preeminence of Value" from the Gimes and Reese MLM law website about the fine line between pyramid schemes and MLMs.
