Scott:

You can contact Bo Tell him I sent you. He's a good guy.

We still invite you to go to our personalized web site xxxxx to check out what Bo is now doing. On the opening home page please click on the "Preview" button on the upper right hand corner and listen to Bo's presentation. Be sure to check out the whole web site since it is very informative. Investigate with an open mind. I recommend doing this prior to writing Bo. Doing so will give you some insight into what is going on with him.

I listened to that very short segment of one of Bo's Amway tapes you sent me and you must understand that that was done in the past. Now is the Present. I originally thought that tape was excellent. Manipulative, but that was what all those who listened to it wanted - myself included.

I've listened to all of Bo's tapes as well as over a thousand other Amway/Quixtar tapes and I enjoyed almost all of them knowing that I was being manipulated (and especially enlightened) but not realizing that, in many cases, there were untruths when the "System" was discussed and promoted. In my opinion that type of manipulation is downright fraud. All Amway/Quixtar Diamonds are trained "Liars" and they need to be in order to succeed in that business. I don't know if I could live with myself doing what they do. It's like selling Snake Oil.

Our Amway/Quixtar experience was very positive in many ways but it was also Extremely Expensive when it came to the "System". The products were good but also very expensive and we all know why.

Why did we join and participate? Probably the same reason all the others did. The only complaint I now have is when it came to the System I now feel that I was Raped by those I trusted. Did you feel the same way? Not good.

BTW - in the PASSPORT business there are no "Tools" or "Meetings" with the occasional exception of some Internet sessions. I believe that Bo is on the right track. Simple - Doable but Powerful.

Good luck on your project. Hopefully, it won't totally consume your life.

Jerry Bartinikas

Hi,

Great site. My ex husband and I were distributors from 1990 to 1995 or so. Our upline Diamonds were Ken & Donna Stewart. I'm writing because I saw you'd posted something from Dale Windle - our upline Pearls were Dale's brother Brian Windle and his wife Victoria - I've often wondered since leaving the 'business' whatever became of them, if they are still involved and if so how they're doing. I don't know if you're still in contact with Dale Windle at all but if you are, I'd love to know whatever happened to Brian & Victoria. (Because, as others have related, these people who were your 'friends' and 'loved' you have a funny way of disappearing from your life if you 'quit'.)

I don't have anything to post really in the way of experiences, for the most part I enjoyed the business though of course never really made money at it. The highest we ever achieved was 4000. I actually 'got in' because my 'dream' was to make enough money to leave my husband, so obviously the 'dreambuilding' stuff of being able to be free and spend more time with your spouse didn't work for me. I would say that I quit more because of the political/religious stuff than anything else - having the conservative Christian viewpoint shoved at me all the time made me very uncomfortable. (but, too, even at 4000 PV the time I had to spend just taking care of our little group became burdensome.) But this site is sure an eye opener, now I understand why our upline always 'promoted' the tools and functions so hard. Wow.

Thanks for putting this out there. It makes for very interesting reading, that's for sure.

--Linda M.

ps.

Yes, I did finally leave my husband, and I signed the business over to him when I did. As far as I know he never did anything with it, I'm sure he'd be rich by now if he had, HA.

My son left Quixtar after 1 1/2 years when he found out it was a fraud (the promises of riches, ie $50,000 the first year etc)---His girlfriend stayed...she and the Diamond group played on his mental situation --These people (diamonds and their lieutenants) prey on the young and weak and gullible and those who do not want to listen to reason---I saw it with my own eyes at meetings and conventions---what shameful presentations based upon lies and promises of riches which almost always are not fulfilled----Capitalism at its worst

Hi Scott,

I saw on one of your feedback pages that someone was inquiring about Quixtar, but I didn't see what your reply was to her.

I am curious about this particular organization because someone is currently attempting to lure my mother into it, and she is a lot more excited about it than I would like her to be.

Are you aware if they are directly affiliated with Amway/Quixtar? If so, I would really appreciate it if you could let me know.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Scott,

I am wondering how I find out what pin level my upline leaders really are.

Tom Armor claims he is Emerald. Joe claims he is Diamond. Is there anyway to find out what level these people really are?

I called the corporation but they refuse to tell me anything!

Thanks,

I am not sure what to say about the leaders of our business. It is hard to figure out what they have going on. I think the Pici's are hard working people that are building a profitable business. I am not sure about the

Armour's.

I really like some aspects of the business such as shopping on-line from my home. The products are good quality. I do have some problems with "the system" though. It does not seem to have the value that it should. I am not

against investing in my business but our organization appears to be like the other organizations. They want to make their money off of CD's and voicemail. We just switched voicemail systems because the "good ole boy

network" was making the money off of the Genie system. Now we are back with the Amvox system. It is lame but thecorporation seems to like it for some reason.

I really do think this business could work if people would get off the old "Amway" ways of doing business.

Thanks,

I too studied the Amway business. I truly enjoyed your site. You have done a very thorough job with your observations. I heard that the Yager Diamonds make a significant amount of their profits from the functions and events. I also heard that Yager makes more money off the tapes and books than Amway products. It is hard to tell what rumors are true, but this rumor came to me with some numbers that sounded legitamate. It has been a while so I have forgotten the details. I heard that Amway was having problems with the Yager motivational engine running out of control, but Amway had concerns about hitting the brakes too hard; sort of blackmailed.

LIES: I don't believe the Amway Corporation is responsible for all the "urban legends" that distributors repeat about the business.

HIGH PRICES: They don't seem to compete on price because they have everyone hooked on enthusiasm. Distributors are buying on an emotional decision (dream), rather than a logical decision based on quality, service and value.

DREAM or GREED? The Amway Dream is a double edged sword. A good business model recommends to make maximum net profits that one should raise prices. However increasing prices will likely reduce gross sales. So our model is to raise prices until reductions in sales and recruit maxes out the net proft and begins to make it decline. The loyal enthusiastic distributors will hold to the "DREAM" and continue to buy until the price becomes on bearable;

therefore, the corporation should raise prices higher than the competition in order to maximize profits. Businesswise we can see that both the corporation and the top distributors can maximize earnings. The hippocracy is that the

dream is being used to overcharge those who hope to someday use it overcharge others. Is if justified? From a business model perspective, it is the right thing to do. But until a distributor begins to do enough business to actually get good quality, service, and value; that distributor better get adequate compensation from something like skills training or knowledge that has value sufficent to fill the gap.

You are so thorough and logical in your analysis of Amway that I wish you would take an equally close LOOK at Primerica and Citigroup. I have yet to be able to find the bad stuff that Amway has. Citigroup is the largest

corporation in the world. The free FNA is professional and accurate. I am better at financial planning than what the FNA suggests to do, so I was not impressed. However, I believe that it would in fact help most people! The

Primerica business model is different from their competition, so some price comparisons are difficult; but their products are not the same and their motivations seem to be more honorable. It does appear that the work to reward ratio is similar to Amway for the beginner; but so what, if you can help people. Helping people plan for their future can be compensation in place of money; as long as it truly is help.

Hello Mr. Larsen, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ernest, and I am currently an IBO with the Quixtar system. I have been through your website, and have found it to be very informative. I have not reached the levels of some of the people that have testimony; however I am starting to connect the dots. My girlfriend and I joined the business in July, and I have had continuous arguments and disagreements on the tools program. However I was amazed to find, or should I say discover that the Diamonds make more off of the tapes and such. My question to you is would you know of anymore website or information about this negative side of the Quixtar system??? Please respond. Thank you.

Check out the definition of this. Pyramids are illegal, the law must be be really slow. The company has 50 years experience, and still going strong. What's that say?! On the web-site, it states that Alticor is the mother company of Amway and Quixtar. I guess that you misunderstood, right?!
I've never heard anyone say that it's a get-rich-quick anything. It depends on how fast you want to build your business.
I think most of your readers and comments are probably from people who couldn't successfully build their business, and are upset that other people want to. That's too bad, because this is an excellent business. Sure, nobody's perfect, but this is the best business opportunity in the world. Too bad you didn't succeed in it, but that doesn't say that someone else hasn't. You get what you put into it. They have good products(not expensive!), and after using their products, I wouldn't want to go back to using what I did before.
There are so many things that you can do with this business. You can concentrate on one thing, or everything. Your loss. P.S. Also, the people are uplifting and positive, unlike what you and your site seem to be.

P. Ferris

I came across your website because I was actually looking for infromation defaming Quixtar. I recently joined as an IBO and all I can say are good things about the business. I looked at some of your information, frankly I don't have time to go through it all, its mostly skewed information anyways, and your information has holes everywhere. It makes me wonder if you actually were an IBO. Plus, its tough to include Quixtar with Amway in all these kinds of discussions. They are two different entities with different purposes. I am not familiar with the processes of Amway, because I have never been associated with it, but I would go out on a limb and say that the Quixtar business is immensely easier to run and offers a much wider range of products.

As for the tools issue, it was made completely clear, at least to me, that it is not necessary to buy these tools, nor can I myself force another to buy them. In that sense, I do use them, and I learn from them. They help get you through tough times as well as motivate you and teach you tricks and help you grow as a person. I have no problem with these because

they help me not only in the business, but all parts of my life, personal relationships, job, etc. Also, for upline whoevers making money off them, who cares? I plan on being there in a couple years, so then I'll make some money too when I make tapes. How is that different than a music artist getting paid royalties for his work. And American spend hundreds of millions of doallars a year on self-help material already. This stuff is the same, except its business-specific.

For the success issue is a moot point to me. I have seen the success this business can bring. My upline Platinum got that way in just over 2 years, and she is retired now, only continuing to help people like me. Oh, by the way, she is 25 years old.

I don't know how many more holes you want me to shoot in your story, but I could continue if you provide something you think is infallible. I think you have been lucky in the past to have gotten responses from IBOs that sound like religious zealots or incompetent fools that can do nothing but call names. I don't see nearly enough competent responses posted on the site, for any reasons?

It's too bad you can't match wits with someone that actually has some about them.

Good Luck in life, cause I won't need it.

Future Diamond

R. Mickey

Hi Rob,

thanks for the letter. I did get a chuckle from it.

It is very typical of other IBOs who write me. They say "everything on your site is so wrong", just like you did, but then fail to debate even one point with me. I got such a letter last Friday. I asked the guy to pick a point and debate it. It seems either he can't find one or is to lazy to back up his generalizations. Will you be like all the others?

I like how on one hand you say the business is not like Amway but then on the other hand you say you don't know much about Amway. I do point out the same benefits of the Quixtar program as you do, but I guess you

didn't read that far before you decided to write. In the end they are still cut from the same mold. Have you been keeping up on the Quixtar web site? Go back and listen to ken McDonald talk to Diamond club in March. He says that the groups still on standard fulfillment (aka old Amway system) have higher average sales per IBO than those on the new Quixtar direct fulfillment system. Basically that says that the old "Amway system" IBOs are more profitable on average than the Quixtar IBOs. Maybe that helps pay for the extra record keeping and product pick up transport costs. I've included the .mp3 cut for your enjoyment.

So you can go on believe I have lots of holes or we can debate at least one point. It's your chance to back up your sweeping generalization and let me match wits with an "expert" like yourself!

If your upline Platinum is retired then how come she is WORKING with you to build your business? Maybe it is because she is not RETIRED and she is working her own business full time so that it does not disintegrate on

her by lack of attention. Show me a truly retired Amway person, doing no work and I'll show you somebody whose business is crumbling around them.

Regards,

Scott

The "Future Diamond Rob Mickey" has not replied to my mail.

Interesting stuff. Are you the one who has done the research or just built the web site?

There is a lot of information there............much of it taken out of context, I might add.

Since you are questioning the credibility of this particular business and the people who both founded it and those that are participating, I think you should post your background and credentials to show us how successful you have been and how your information will help us better ourselves, our financial position, and our lifestyles. You should provide an alternative solution besides working more hours.

Anyway, I found your website very interesting and informative. Always good to understand peoples opinions about things.

I look forward to hearing from you and seeing additional information on your web site.

Craig M. Gordon

After having attended a meeting for Quixtar's "product rollout/presentation" I did some homework on my own. You know, trust but verify. A common theme kept coming up. I logged onto your site which contains some great information and supports the idea that this just isn't what it's cracked up to be. I called the guy who invited me to the meeting and shared some of the items I found from your site, Forbes, Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Reports,

etc. Needless to say, he wasn't very happy and became quite defensive. The remarks sounded very rehearsed, almost to the point of appearing brainwashed! I do have a question for you. Has anyone ever hounded you or pursued you, other than the legal stuff, because of the truths that you have shared with others? Your site is great and more power to you in your efforts, my friend. Drop a line when you get a chance.

Thanks.

Mark

Hi Scott,

You are right when you say the money come from tapes and seminars. Because of these are modes of 'ads' and teachings to think like a business man rather than a job mind set.

An example:

A job mind set: do we have to buy the products AND the tapes. WHAT, somebody makes money out of me??

A business man: Promotes tapes books and products. Because he knows he is much smaller than the Franchising system of education through tapes, books and seminar. So he uses the tools rather than teaching on his own. Similar

to Bill Gates, or any multi-Billion dollar magnate, like Tiger Woods. Do you really think Tiger Woods makes money only from playing golf. No, he makes his money from the nike cap, and other endorsements.

I am glad that not all people understand this concept. Because, this business is also not for everybody. We need poor people, who work for other people.

shankar

Hello, I'm evaluating the Quixtar business and came across your site of information. About two weeks ago, we, and l sat down with a sponser that our friend introduced us to and looked at "the plan". I realized that it was Amway very quickly, but was willing to investigate more. We decided to go forward with membership, but have been very skeptical nontheless. We even agree to go to one of the Free Enterprizes, and just returned from one in ST. Louis this past weekend. I noticed throughout the weekend of motivational, and moral majority preaching, that there seemed to be a great deal of warning on how many were trying to debunk the business. Even Dexter Yeager over-emphisized this point. I was disturbed by this, and how God was used in so many references to getting wealth, while these upline-folks portrayed their outrageously huge estates on the giant video screens. Upon getting home, I began going online and searching for more info. on Quixtar, and came across your info. I must say that I am even more skeptical about staying in, and wonder if you have any other advise to offer. I would appreciate your time in giving me anything that would help in my decision, as I am confused and upset that I have gone this far. Thank you, David Cutrer

Hi Scott,

I am an Amway distributor as part of the IBS (International Business Systems) owned by Diamonds Jerry & Mandy Scriven and Pat & Greta Gregory, which started from US upline Fred & Linda Harteis.

In 1997 (?) a fastest UK diamond Bernie & Janet De-Souza (within 4 years) and various emeralds, such as Lyndon & Janet Farringdon, Neil & Ruth Salway, John & Nancy Lear (Scotland) etc have mysteriously disappeared and no one talks about them.

I had hoped that this business would give the lifestyle that is often branded about by the Emeralds and Diamonds, but I this week my dreams have been fading fast. Although I have a good career and I am doing well in it, I am still working for someone else.

Anyway, hope this helps you. If you have any further info, especially about the UK AMO then please email me the links/articles.

Thanks.

Dear Scott,

You seem to have an inside peek in this world of Amway and a way of exposing it. I used to be with a line of sponsorship that fell apart when "Team In Focus" was launched. Many people were hurt. They preached to me about loyalty and principle based integrity. Now, "TIF" has it's own site and products. My concerns is the page "meet the founders". They make reference to their success in Team in Focus. For example Andy & Polly Andrews explain their introduction to TIF, "Andy was booked to perform at several Team in Focus conventions. After each convention, he would return home to Polly with stories of the people he had met. Polly was apprehensive, but she remained focused and, not long after starting their business, Andy and Polly reached unqualified success as Founders in Team in Focus." I've listened to years of Andy Andrews tapes and he's changed his story. It wasn't TIF but Amway who hired him. It is similar in each of the TIF founders" profiles. Where is the integrity and honesty here? http://visitor.teaminfocus.com

Scott,

Interesting stuff. I was passing through the website and thought I would check how the business was doing. Didn't realize all this controversy and greed had erupted. I was in the business and everyone always assured us no one was making money on the tools and the functions. Now, I see why we were really pushed. And all this time I thought it was because the upline cared. Boy do I live in Never Land. Anyway, I saw on one of the websites that Hal and Susan Gooch had divorced? Is that right. They were big wheels in this and my upline diamond. Do you know anything about it?

Pat

Scott

It was on one of the websites. I know Stewart and Childers got divorced. I think it was ww.cocs.com/jhoagland/response.html. It is called readers' response. Maybe I read it wrong.

My profession is journalism. I was a sports writer and still am. Only now, I'm doing professional acting,

which is my passion. Now, I'm beginning to understand why they bashed my profession the whole time. It's kinda crappy when you're at a function and diamonds are ripping the media. I think now the reason they don't like the

media is they figured someone might find out some of them are lying, crooked snakes.

It was funny. When I was in the business any activity like acting was considered a waste of time. Wait until you go emerald or diamond and then you can do it at functions. When I stopped doing the business, I got back into acting. I started doing dinner theatre in East Texas and eventually got down to Houston. 'm having the time of my life. I am touching people in a good way. Now, the only laughs I get is when I'm on stage. It's funny, when I told people I was going be

rich from the business, they laughed. When say I'm going to make it as an actor, it's nothing but encouragement. Funny world. I read where Ron Rummel is no longer with them. What is he doing now? Is Stewart still in it. How can Gooch be doing all this still? I'm sure the entire business is starting to lose money. I have not heard from one of my upline since I

got out. Of course, my wife and I are divorced and most of them were pretty much her friends. Well, it's interesting stuff. All the Christian stuff Brigg Hart talked about and Hal, too. They really suckered a lot of people didn't they?

Hi - are you in contact with Sidney Schwartz at all? His original webpage was an inspiration and I wondered how he has been getting along. As always, love this page too! Thanks for being here!

Scott, I haven't visited your site in months. Your site continues to expand and improve, and I'm glad to see that you are pursuing translation. After all, there are many non-english speaking countries that have not been fully exploited by the amway/quixtar "system." Keep up the good work Jeff

Great site. ppl writing the guestbook are ppl who have been duped but want others to follow suit for them to fell evil comfort. sadist attitude. all this MLM business is crap and your extensive research and documentation confirms what little bit work I had done to preclude friends and relatives joining this scam. keep up the good work and let the Amway followers cry foul. the fools deserve it. PassedAway

After reading all the feedback...it seems the people who like the business really like it and the ones who don't have a personal problem, like a divorce or a relationship breakup. Seems if they would read the books and listen to the tapes they may have had a better life. Any time people are involved you have to deal with personality and ego. It seems the business works...but some people don't. Thinks for all the input.

Thank you very much this is a tremendously informative site. I called the FTC and they suggested that I call the Better Business Bureau in the state or area as well as the office of the Attorney General. The questions to ask the BBB: Is the company a registered member? How many complaints do they have? How does the company handle these complaints? www.grandrapids.bbb.org

YOU SHOULD REALLY EXPLORE THE FACT THAT THERE ARE SO MANY POSITIVE THINGS THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS BUSINESS. THIS SEEMS TO BE A FAIRLY NEGATIVE POINT OF VIEW.

Wow, how stupid of a website! I cannot believe you actually took everything out of context and manipulated to make it sound like you knew what you were talking about. Get your facts straight about the opportunity that is available before you take your time with anymore junk websites. Good luck staying broke!

Dear Scott,

I was tricked into meeting my sister and mother in Raleigh, NC to visit while they attended a FED (Free Enterprise Day) Convention. I have never been interested in selling Amway products or getting caught up in the multi level marketing scheme. However, I was no where near prepared for what I would hear and see as a guest at this convention. I'm not quite sure how to sum it all up since so much happened it would probably take up your whole website. Here are just a few of the things I heard and saw.
1. Blasphemy! They preached that the business is "Gods Gift"and Gods Plan". Since when does the bible state that we should worship a business? I don't ever remember Amway being in the bible.
2. Cultist! Their speakers preach that anyone who does not agree and/or support the business should be considered "Dream Takers" and the "Adversary". Hello? Sounds like brainwashing to me.
3. In a smaller meeting that I attended with my mother and sister after the rally on Saturday, they were told by one of the leaders "The big man said there would be no night owls tonight so we need to go back to our rooms." He was referring to Bill Britt not God! He raised his finger and pointed up when he said it as if to refer to Bill as a higher power. What a joke!
4. This leader also told the group that they needed to be obedient to the plan so they could get Gods blessings. He insinuated that if they were obedient to their business they would receive Gods blessings.
5. When I refused to go to all the meetings and speeches my sister told me that it was "Satan's influence" She has been my sister for over 30 years and she has never talked like this before. We were raised Catholic but with open minds to all good people and religions. She informed me she gets more out of this than she does Church.....Brainwashing!
6. I would love to tell everyone in this business to please stop manipulating innocent people to believe that their business is their religion. Please stop manipulating people to think that their making you money is Gods plan. Stop using God and religion as a smoke screen to make them work harder to make you richer.
7. If Bill Britt is so Christian why does he talk about the poor as if they were put on earth to serve Amway millionaires?
8. One of the so-called Diamonds got up and talked about her son dying at a young age but she knows he is with the Lord because of this business. I could not believe she credited this business to her sons soul going to heaven.
C'mon people get a grip! What kind of business tells you to work and maybe you'll get paid in 2-5 years? What kind of a business tells people to alienate themselves from people who do not have the same business as themselves? I have so much to say and comment about, but just thinking about is overwhelming. Get back to you later. Please, do not put my name or e-mail address on-line for all to see Thanks

I am an independant business owner, I sell absolutely nothing except a concept that works. In fact everyone I talk to I ensure that they realize that they are not in any way required to "sell" anything. This business has exposed me to wonderful people who are more that willing to do anything to help you in life and in business, I have been introduced to GOD and I am a better person for the motivational materials, they motivate you about life, they dont just teach you business. Dont knock it till you tried it. They initial investment is refundable if you dont make a profit.

Hey Brother, due to your knowledge upon my business i will like to say that you have hit the positive things right on the spot whereas the negative things seem distorted. I thought I give you this information since you collect all good things about quixtar. If you subscribe to Ny Times, it ranked Quixtar #2 company in the world... you can find this article on the nytimes.com and look at july 23rd edition.... I think you having this much knowledge of the ecommerce business should have done very good in marketing..you got the skills...but unfortunately you dont have the brains and guts to do this business.. I am Hassan and I am going Emerald this month and it only took me 1 1/2 years you tell me if that income hurts even if you say the business is a pyramid..ha.... well better be a pyramid and make money and be no pyramid and make no money...HOpe this inspires you and if you need any information give me a holler.... Your attitude also stinks..!!

Hi Scott.

I have seen your web site. You have done a highly great task at finding out a great deal of the MLMs. I appreciate your efforts.

What do you do? How do you earn money?

No where on this earth can you point me to the lifestyle these people live. (Why don't you look at the good side of things, rather than bad side of things)I can also find 1000 bad things about anything.

You Quitter.

Once a Quitter always a Quitter. A Quitter never Quits with dignity.

What constantly puzzles me is why people would take financial advice or give credibility to people who are unsuccessful in business and finance. When I was in the hunt to be a Firefighter I surely did not seek counsel from those who had failed the test or were fired from the job. Why would a person listen to anyone giving advice and/or opinion on anything to do with personal finance or business when they do not have the success to back it up?.

Hello,

I am proud that I joined Quixtar or Amway...You see my Upline have always taught that you need to sell products to customers.
They also teach you need at least 10 customers to earn your Bonus Check. Quixtar has changed the way we do things yes,
but the Plan is the same the rules are the same and when you have 2 Million Distributors some are going to break the rules. The FACT is AMWAY / QUIXTAR still is the Greatest MLM Company out there. Even tho many have decided to leave and some Terminated! I stand up for Amway or Quixtar which ever you prefer they are the best and always will be. Rich Devos and Jay Van Andel have told its distributors over and over about the rules of doing business. They finally took action when they Terminated many of its leaders. Every business has it ups and downs. Look at any successful company that is in business. Yes, Sales may be down but so is most of the country after 9/11 so remember this all of you who failed in Amway or Quixtar you only failed because you Quit...that is the only way it doesn't work.
God bless all who try to better themselves with this Great opportunity.

JOHN BRATCHER Independent IBO member

Well, you probably won't have the guts to put this out but at least I have exercised my individual rights.

If you a person who was some how harmed or didn't have the guts to go out and do something let that be the case. But, for those of us who are achieving and changing lives for the better, an association with Amway/Quixtar and WWDB has been a blessing. I have been a "traditional" business owner, developing a very major Food Brokerage firm, working with major food manufactures and have found it very refreshing to work with people who have integrity and honesty as a basis to do business.

I teach business structure, development and ethics in the business community and have been a leader both in the business, civic, Scouting community, Investment Banking world, and a major church, so I know what to look for in the "shady areas". So, I am on my soap box, to push back on your chest and tell you, you are full of hate and hot air. Get on with a better approach to life and do something worthwhile.

If you think that you are "saving the little folks" from the Quixtar Bogyman, you better raise your head higher than the trashcan and look at the everyday businesses that are shafting the "poor little guys".

Wake up you narrow minded pea brain and quit spending valuable energy spreading hate.

Look at the guys in history that have done that. Where they are now is sure a lot hotter than Arizona

Thank you so much for proving our point in your detailed analysis. Almost every negative element you took time to evaluate is actually a positive if you had taken one second to compare it to conventional business ownership. It would have been better if you could have evaluated the allternative economic statistics and risks associated with being an employee for 50 years in todays market. Of course Quixtar business ownership is not utopia, it's just better in both time & economic commitments than the alternatives. Remember you are evaluating a business, not a game, not a job, not a career, a business.

Could you tell me what kind of business do you have if you are so concerned about Quixtar business model ? Tell me what do you create if you criticiye so much !

Do you think in the Amway business people are interesed only in making money

!Have you at least looked at the business from the inside !

Why is it so important to go to the "Free Enterprise Day" function? My sponsor says it is.

Scott,

In the Britt-Miller-Winters team, Alan Leininger fell out of qualification and only recently did I see him in the pictures of Hawaii diamond club. John Huffsetler is not in the pictures either. I know Leininger fell out of diamond for a fact, merely an assumption on Huffsteler. Also Danny Snipes is pictured in the Diamond club pics, but not the EDC Club pics.

Alan Leininger was my immediate upline diamond. There was never an official announcement, but I heard from my direct the supposed reason was one leg was audited by the irs. The whole leg was audited because they had written off questionable things on their taxes. He also emphasized that it was common for a diamond to have a stabilization period. Maybe, but four years of "I'm a diamond" just not a qualified one?

What an interesting web site. Quixtar is blamed for everything from failing marriages to financial disaster. By the way some of the list contributors write, it's quite obvious that they don't have enough sense to be in ANY business for themselves. People need to make choices, evaluate their progress, and be responsible for their decisions. But in today's society, it's much more acceptable and cathartic to blame others for one's own incompetence and or stupidity. Get a grip whiners.

Anyone interested in learning about network marketing should read the book, "Inside Network Marketing: An Expert's View into the Hidden Truths and Exploited Myths of America's Most Misunderstood Industry" by Leonard W. Clements. It offers valuable insite into the upside and downside of the industry.

You are a big liar, jerk and asshole. My experience with Amway adn Quxitar has been positive. I am earning money while you are spreading negavitve. What other alternative you are providing the people by taking this oppurtunity away from them. Your facts and figures are wrong and based on false grounds. Try one more time moron. I am student and doing computer Engineering this business is helping my fianances. Besides you even don't know the ABC of a pyramid scheme, learn more fool and don't take good things away from people who have hope in this poor economy. Go Diamond

this website is a complete joke. the fact that someone would spend as much time developing this site is funny. oh by the way, the reason there is money made on tools is very simple, it is the support for how the business is built. would you pay $6 to have successful businessman or woman talk to you. would you pay $6 to have someone teach you what took them years to learn. how much do music cds cost (there not free). For anyone that is looking at this site to decide if they want to build this business, ask yourself one question. IS THE PERSON GIVING YOU ADVICE OR THE PERSON WHO DEVELOPED THIS WEBSITE, EVER OFFER TO HELP YOU BUILD A BUSINESS. REMEMBER WHOEVER SHOWED YOU THIS BUSINESS, OFFERED IT TO YOU. YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IT IF YOU DONT WANT TO. BUT WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO? GOD BLESS AND KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE. SIGNED, AN AMBOT

Hi Scott,

First I’d like to thank for your informative site. It’s extremely cool with those replies from former IBO that gives me some valuable answers about what’s going on in MLM business.

I’m an Indonesian student on the 4th grade of my college, I’ve never been a distributor or got into Amway by any means, but I have now them, as my father has been continuously approached by them (he refuses all along) and Amway had me to collect one of my saddest moment on my life, it begins on the last week of July 2002.

I have a very close friend (he is also my cousin). First he was invited me to a seminar, he says that it was an "E-Commerce and Networking Workshop" then he asked me to call out some of my friends and I did that, but when I come to the place (along with my friends), it turned out to be Amway’s Business Building Seminar (BBS)!! What the hell is this?! First I thought that my cousin was also misinformed or fooled by those Amway’s goon, but just before the show starts he introduced us to someone (A professor on one of the University of Indonesia a.k.a his sponsor), he told us about building a business network, hell yeah! And we were forced (fooled) to pay Rp. 40.000/ each to watch and listen nothing but stupid BS by those Network 21’s diamonds and my heads ringing with unexplained questions: "What have they done? Did they sold household appliances or what? That’s where the profit comes, this isn’t makes sense." And so on…

After the show, I asked my cousin why he must lie to make us come into the seminar. Why didn’t he told us the truth? We would still come for an experience. And he told me that it was a good ethic to invite people. His answer strikes me like a lightning bolt! I can’t believe someone I trusted with my heart, my own brother, to tell me such a stupid answer (I was inches close to destroy his face, to tell him to SNAP OUT OF IT!!), EVERYONE KNOWS THIS LIE IS NOT A GOOD ETHIC!!! After my friends and me refused to join Amway (thank god they still have some consciousness), the communications between him and me has grown cold, and the phone stopped. Actually I don’t mind if he joins Amway, and I don’t care about my money I spend for the first (and last) seminar, but all his lying techniques and speaking, (He was just like brainwashed and turns to be someone I don’t even know). That’s just all

I was kinda missing our friendship, it’s not easy to forget someone who walks alongside us from and to school for years, and someone who we shared dreams with. So when I tried to surf to gain some info about Network 21 (it’s the name they use in Indonesia and third world’s countries, I thought) and Amway, I found hundreds of web pages (including yours) who works to regain people consciousness about MLM evil techniques that made me lost one of my greatest compadre.

Keep up the good jobs, Scott! I also won’t stop on my research on this matter, on this moment I’ve been writing an article to publish on my college’s paper, and give your homepage address to my cousin. I hope the best for us and the others who has the same thought about MLM,

And my apologies for writing this long letter to you, thanks for reading it

One of the best written expose sites out there!

I'm interested in Amway not because I've ever been duped by them (though I've lost friends who fell into their "cult" and have had relatives lose money!), but because I am a P&G shareholder.

Amway seems to have an organized campaign to smear P&G. Directly, by saying its "Satanic" and indirectly by starting rumors that "Febreze kills cats", etc.

I've been successful in tracking the Febreze rumor back to Scamway and --it's hard to believe-- the LDS "church"!

Unfortunately, the trail usually ends at Amway salesmen, not "officials" of the Amway Corporation itself (which is why P&G lost their two lawsuits against Amway).

I'm an "Urban Folklorist" as a hobby, though, and track these citings, some of which are quite harmful to individuals or companies. The P&G rumors don't die and I hear them widely when I travel in the Southeast or Utah (I travel on business a lot).

Several Amway salesman have personally told me that some P&G product, shampoo usually, contains a "proven

cancer-causing chemical" and that the Amway version doesn't. (Usually "SLS")

I think you are a frustate former Amway member. I don't believe you are talking in that way of a business which for 40 years: sir 40 years, IS CHANGING LIVES AROUND THE WORLD.

Sir. does you can find an activity which has a better rate than Amway moving persons from poor to wealthy? I believe not. If you dont have the courage to sell or to find new distributors, let other persons fiight for thier dreams. The diamomds and emeralds you talk about are people who enter the business with nothing of they have now, they did it

at the business. I did other business before but no one of them, let me grew spiritually. If you dont find in yor life what you are lookinf for, try Amway again.

You are right on target. It has been several years since I attempted to deprogram an Ambot. We have a new member of our Rotary Club that is trying to recruit our members. It is very embarrassing for our membership.

Hi,

My 19 year old nephew has gotten himself involved in this mess. He told one of our family members that he would become "platinum" if one of us would only co-sign a $10,000 security/loan. I'm trying to find out how much he may have spent already to get to the level that he is at. Is there a web page that lists the costs associated with each level? Do you have any suggestions about how we can get him to realize how foolish he's being?

Any information you can send me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Susan

We have been in the business at least 2 months as Ibo's, Your web page has confirmed my greatest fears about this type of business, I fine that the although its up to each IBO to get in the tape and book motivational goodies it does cost allot of money to keep this business going. I find that we were not lied to about the business and that dreams could come true given how hard a person is to work at this kind of business but getting into the program of buying tapes and books does cost allot and takes income out of the household, it does benefit the uplines to sell these motivation tools because they make more money that way. My concern is that we had only 48 hours to decide if we wanted to make a leap of faith to go into this business, I would recommend that any body looking into this business get the facts first and decide for themselves. All people need support and motivation to keep happy in any job it depends on the support team that helps.

In closing I would like to say that this business wasn't said to me on a tax benefit but I was told that any books or tapes purchased would be a tax write off, certainly there are people making money at this type of career but for me I think I'll stick to my regular job and invest time into my family and taking me time..

thanks,

Walter

Hi Scott,

I've met some friends yesterday and they've presented me Quixtar.

Now that I've already bought tickets for a little seminar (tickets that they specifically told me to input in my income statement), I wanted to know more about Quixtar.

I found your site, right below the official site of Quixtar on Google.

First question comes into my mind, what did Quixtar did to you so that you feel so much anger towards them ??

Joke!

No seriously, I found your site quite helpfull since I had some experience with Amway like.. 7-8 years ago through my parents. Ity didn't work out... basically vecause we could' find loyal sutomers to Amway (not even my parents became loyal customers)

Basically I want to congratulate you. You must've worked hard for your site.. especially with calculations and statistics. In fact, what drove you to input so much work against Quixtar ? I never thought someone would've created a site with all these details so that blinded minds like me would not fall into this scheme.

Thank you and unfortunately, i don't think this scheme will ever go away..... We will probably hear about it sometime in 5-to 10 years under a different name.

I was wondering what you story is with Quixtar. I'm on the verge of getting sucked into this cult. That is what it is, isn't it? I would be interested in your opinion on the whole thing. They make it sound so good, but I know it can't be. I went to a meeting 2 nite, and it seems to be like a church cult to me. I could be wrong, but I would like to hear your opinion. Thanks for your time

Brad

WELL SCOTT, THE WORLD OF OPINION, EVERYONE HAS ONE THAT'S FOR SURE!

I'M SURE YOU HAVE SOME VALID BITS OF INFORMATION HERE, AND SOME OTHERS THAT MAY DEPEND ON THE INDIVIDUAL. I OWN A MEDIUM SIZED COPR. AND LORD KNOWS IT WASN'T AS EASY AS I THOUGHT BUT I HAD HOPE, A DREAM AND JUST KNEW IT WOULD BE BETTER THAN WORKING FOR ANOTHER COMPANY OUT THERE AND BE TOLD WHEN TO GET UP AND HAVE LUNCH AND HOW MANY DAYS OFF A YEAR I COULD HAVE WITH FAMILY! CHALLENGES WITH EMPLOYEE PROBLEMS LIKE YOU COULD NOT BELIEVE, GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES ISSUES, COMPUTER ISSUES AND BREAKDOWNS OF THEM. SO AFTER 6 YEARS OF OWNING MY COMPANY AND PROFITING MUCH MORE THAN ANY JOB I HAVE TO SAY THAT IT WAS WORTH ALL THE HEADACHES AND LATE NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS BECAUSE OF THE FREEDOM OF TIME AND HIGHER INCOME.

I SAW THE AMWAY BUSINESS IN 1987 AT 24 YEARS OF AGE, DECIDED TO "HAUL OFF AND DO NOTHING" AS MOST FOLKS WITH NO CLEAR CUT IDEA OF WHAT THEY REALLY WANT IN LIFE WITH A PLAN MAY DO. AS FAR AS BUILDING THE BUSINESS GOES, EXCEPT FOR HAVING A FEW FRIENDS ASK TO GET PLUGGED INTO M.C.I. OR THE AUTO NETWORK OR A FEW WANTED SOME PRODUCTS AND BECAME DISTRIBUTORS TO BUY THEM AT WHOLESALE, THERE WAS NOT A LOT OF ACTIVITY TO SAY THE LEAST. IF I WOULD HAVE GONE TO WORK WITH THAT TYPE OF ACTIVITY LEVEL I WOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED, BUT SINCE YOU REALLY OWN YOUR OWN BUSINESS THE ONLY ONE THAT HOLDS YOU ACCOUNTABLE FOR GETTING RESULTS IS YOU! JUST AS IN GOING TO WORK OUT, WE KNOW OUR BODIES WILL LOOK 100 % BETTER BUT WE ARE NOT ACCOUNTABLE TO ANYONE SO MOST OF US DO THE MINIMUMS AND EVEN QUIT! I COULD HAVE QUIT A 100 TIMES IN THIS BUSINESS BECAUSE I WASN'T MAKING A WHOLE LOT OF $$$, WELL ON THE OTHER HAND I HADN'T DONE MUCH TO CREATE IT ALSO, I DID THINK IT WAS NEAT AT 24 I WAS EARNING ABOUT $15-$60 JUST FOR PLUGGING IN A FEW FOLKS KIND OF LIKE A REFERRAL TO A MOVIE, WHICH IS ABOUT THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME I SPENT INVOLVING SEVERAL PEOPLE, BUT I'VE NEVER GOTTEN A REFERRAL FEE THERE. I WANTED TO HAVE A BUSINESS, AND THE TIME TO GIVE ME A CERTAIN LIFESTYLE, BUT LETS FACE IT MY AGE AND THE FRIENDS I ASSOCIATED WITH STILL HAD A MAJOR INFLUENCE ON WHAT I DID.

I FOUND SOME OF THE ARTICLES YOU HAVE INFORMATIVE TO A CERTAIN DEGREE BUT LEFT CRUCIAL INFO. OUT. I PERSONALLY THINK THE BUSINESS IS NOT AS HARD TO BUILD AS MY COMPANY I OWN, AND IS STILL EASIER THAN A JOB, BUT MORE DIFFICULT TO BUILD THAN ENJOYING WATER SKIING, WHICH IS ALMOST THE IMPRESSION ONE MIGHT GET IN THE ARTICLE.

I SOMEDAY COULD LOOSE MY COMPANY, BECAUSE THE MARKET MAY FALL OUT FROM UNDER IT IN WHAT I DO, JUST AS IT HAS IN THE STOCK MARKET. SOMETHING IN A QUIXTAR BUSINESS MAY HAPPEN LIKE THAT TOO, YET THE DUPLICATION EFFORT HAS WORKED FAR BETTER LET'S FACE IT THAN A NON DUPLICATION DEAL. NO BUSINESS IN IMMUNE TO ALL DOWN TIMES AND OF COURSE FOLKS CAN FALL OUT OF QUALIFICATION AS AN EMERALD OR DIAMOND WILL AGAIN, BUT THEY CAN DO AS I DO IN MY TRADITIONAL BUSINESS AND THAT IS SPONSOR A FEW MORE LEGS "AT EFFORT OF COURSE" AND MOVE FORWARD AND REQUALIFY, WE DO THIS ALL TIME IN TRADITIONAL BUSINESS, FORBES IS RIGHT DOWN THE STREET FROM ME IN BURLINGAME AND I'VE NEVER SEEN SO FEW PEOPLE THERE NOW, INKTOME CAN'T MOVE INTO THEIR NEW BEAUTIFUL BUILDING IN FOSTER CITY BECAUSE OF THE DROP IN THEIR INDUSTRY, JUNO.COM MAY LOOSE SUBSCRIBERS TO QUIXTAR THROUGH THEIR I.S.P. SERVICE THEY OFFER OR TO A.O.L. WHO KNOWS WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS.

WELL WE DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS FOR PRODUCTS LIKE CARS OR HOUSES NEXT YEAR OR SERVICES LIKE YOUR I.S.P JUNO OR AMAZON, BUT THE ONE THING FOR CERTAIN THE FUTURE WILL HOLD IS "PEOPLE" AND IF YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF OWNING THE RIGHTS TO A PRODUCT OR SERVICE THAT WE BOTH AGREE IS UNCERTAIN AS FAR AS HOW LONG WE LIVE OFF AND PROVIDE FOR OUT FAMILIES OR OWNING A "SUBSCRIBER BASE/WEB-BASED COMMUNITY/ORGANIZATION OF I.B.O'S THEN MY GOD LETS MIMIC THE BILLIONAIRES, ON A SMALLER SCALE OF COURSE AND OWN THE "SUBSCRIBER BASE OR WEB-BASED COMMUNITIES/ORGANIZATIONS AND HELP THEM DO THE SAME.

YOU AND I KNOW NOT EVERYONE WILL BUILD THE BUSINESS,NOT EVERYONE WILL STAY IN, NOT EVERYONE WILL SELL OR USE THE PRODUCTS, JUST LIKE IN LIFE, SO WHAT. NOT EVERYONE WILL SUCCEED IN REAL ESTATE, OR WITH CISCO, OR IN CONTRACTING. NO ONE EVER PROMISED ME I WOULD SUCCEED IN MY CORP. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE, ANYWHERE. BUT AT LEAST I WAS "ALLOWED" TO TRY AND ALLOWED TO FAIL, AND ALLOWED TO SUCCEED. I WAS EXCITED THAT I WAS ALLOWED IN THIS AMWAY THING IN 1987 AT 24 YEARS OF AGE, MAN I DIDN'T KNOW MY _SS FROM A HOLE IN THE GROUND! ALL MOST OF US HARDWORKING FOLKS WANT IS A CHANCE. SO WHY NOT GIVE US ONE?

I APPRECIATE YOUR POINT OF VIEW AND I AGREE WITH THE FACT YOU CAN STATE IT! NO PROBLEM. SO FOR THE FOLKS LIKE ME THAT JUST WANT THE OPPORTUNITY TO POSSIBLY DO SOMETHING MORE THAN AVERAGE WITH OUR LIFE THE DREAM IS WHAT MAKES LIFE THAT MUCH BETTER, DON'T YOU THINK?

AS FAR AS THE BUSINESS CONCEPT GOES, QUIXTAR HAS PRODUCTS THAT ARE CHEAPER THAT SOME STORES AND MORE THAT SOME STORES THAT'S LIKE ALL STORES IT'S COMMERCE. I THINK WE COULD TAKE THE QUIXTAR CONCEPT, TAKE THE NORDSTROM MALLS AND SELL ALL OF NORDSTROMS PRODUCTS THROUGH A NETWORK AND MAKE A PROFIT IF STRUCTURED RIGHT. THAT'S AS BASIC AS IT COULD BE, SOME FOLKS WILL WANT TO AND SOME WON'T. JUST LIKE DECIDING ON WHAT STORE TO GO INTO.

QUICK NOTE: YOU HAD MENTIONED THAT PEOPLE WERE SPENDING 8 HOURS A WEEK WITH THE BUSINESS AS A NEW I.B.O. I WISH THAT WERE THE CASE WE WOULD HAVE FASTER GROWING BUSINESSES AND HIGHER RETENTION RATE AS THEY WOULD BE MAKING MORE $$ BUT I DON'T CALL ORDERING PRODUCTS OR PICK UP WORKING THE BUSINESS, WOULDN'T I HAVE TO GO TO SAFEWAY ANYWAY? SO SHOWING THE PLAN OR ATTENDING BUSINESS FUNCTIONS WOULD BE CONSIDERED TIME "WORKING" I BELIEVE. AND FUNCTIONS MAY BE MARGINAL SINCE IN MY CORP. I HAVE ON GOING EDUCATION AND TESTING AS A LOT OF PROFESSIONS DO, WOULDN'T YOU AGREE?

ANYWAY SCOTT I RECENTLY STARTED BUILDING THE BUSINESS; GRATEFUL NO ONE COULD KICK ME OUT FOR THE LAKE OF EFFORT OVER THE YEARS, BUT I JUST WAS A PRO-SUMER AND ENJOYED THAT ASPECT OF IT, THE FUNCTIONS WERE THE MOST HELP TO ME IN BELIEVE IT OR NOT MY OTHER CORPORATION, SINCE I FOUND THE TEACHINGS FROM FUNCTIONS, SEMINARS AND TAPES OR BOOKS TAUGHT ME MORE ABOUT PEOPLE, RELATIONS AND BUSINESS THAN ANYTHING I HAD ACCESS TO. I'VE BEEN TO OTHER SEMINARS WITH TONY ROBINS AND THE LIKE WHICH AGAIN WAS ANOTHER PART OF THE TRAINING AND MOTIVATION WE NEED TO SUCCEED LIFE LET ALONE BUSINESS OR OUR JOBS, SO I SUPPOSE THERE IS ANOTHER SIDE TO THE STORY FOR YOU AND HOPE YOU WILL IMPLEMENT IT IN SOME WAY FOR THE FOLKS IN THE WORLD THAT HAVE HOPE FOR A BETTER WAY, AND OR MORE FOR THEIR FAMILIES.

MAYBE I'LL HEAR BACK FROM YOU, IF NOT, I WISH YOU HOPE AND OF COURSE SOME HARD WORK, IN ALL YOU DO!!

TAKE CARE SCOTT.

POST SCRIPT: I JUST HIT 1500P.V. IN VOLUME AFTER SHOWING 8 PLANS AND AM NOW FOCUSED AS IN MY OTHER ENDEAVORS.

Scott:

Max Boos left the business for "personal reasons", and those were issues with the way the organization was being run, matters of integrity, etc. They had an incredible organization, made tons of money and had no jobs. To me, they remain two of the most honest and decent people I have ever known. They would never compromise their values nor intentionally mislead anyone. Max told me that he just couldn't, in good conscience, continue building a business on the basis that was "implied".

It had to be serious to give that all up, but then again, none of their downline Emeralds have quit their jobs after 14 years, so I have to think that the entire organization, if not the Amway/Quixtar business is suffering. They had a very impressive organization of professionals, including surgeons, dentists, attorneys, and others. They attracted a very professional group of people.

At one time, many of the breaking pins were in the Louisiana/Mississippi Youngblood organizations, and now I never see nor hear of anyone in this area that is growing the business. Frankly, I can't say for sure that there are even Open Meetings or any other activity of any significance.

What do you know about all of that? What's your experience with the business and did you reach a significant pin level? I am curious, as my wife and I went Silver in 1996 and I even started a business in Argentina. However, like so many, we couldn't stay qualified, never made Gold Direct, and the foreign business was just an expensive (but fun) week-long vacation in Buenos Aires with my sponsor, Max Boos.

Regards!

Thank you, Scott, for all your work putting this site together. I am not in "the business." (Nor will I EVER be.) However, my stepson's biological mother and stepfather are involved heavily in Quixtar. Ever since I found that out, I have been studying it and am very worried about the situation.

They have told my innocent little 6 year old stepson a number of things I am assuming AQMOs told them. Among these "dreams":

1.) soon they will be moving out of their apartment and into a mansion...ah, but not only a mansion, but one where my stepson will have a huge room with a fire pole, trap door, and all the other things little adventurers dream of;

2.) they will be getting a maid, so he'll never have to clean up his toys again;

3.) neither one of them will ever have to work again and will be at home, playing with him, all the time; and,

4.) they will have money out the wazoo and will buy him everything he's ever wanted.

Now, I blame them for telling these "dreams" to a 6 year old as truth.

However, I blame AQMOs for planting the greed seed. So far, they've been involved in this about a year and a half and the only thing that's remotely come true is that Mrs. Quix does not work full-time anymore. However, my stepson tells me she spends all day "on the phone, working" and she was recently caught bragging to a friend (in front of my sister, whom she didn't recognize) that Mr. Quix has to work 60+ hours a week in his real job to pay for her to be at home. Some success, huh?

I worry about the long term effects this "business" will have on my stepson. Numbers show that the likelihood of them achieving their "dream" with Quixtar or slim to none. What happens if/when things they keep telling him don't come true?

To any current or prospective distributors: If you are in this business or are thinking about joining, please don't tell your kids your "dreams" like they are a reality that is going to happen next month...unless you are 100 PERCENT POSITIVE that they will. Tell them that they are dreams only. This way you are not discouraging your child from having goals of their own.

Otherwise, you will only disappoint them and they will lose confidence in your promises if/when the promises don't come true. IBOs go on and on about what a "family-oriented" business it is. That's not what I've seen. Recently, we attended parents night at my stepson's school and while my stepson was trying to show us all his school and desk and projects, they were off trying to recruit other parents...and ignoring him!

Not only that, but they are always shipping him and their 2 kids off to the babysitter's, even during the weekends they have parenting time with him. I just pray to God that if they are still in this when he gets older (or if Quixtar still exists when he's older), that they will not try to get him to shun education and get into the "business."

This went on a little longer than I intended. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hey Scott,

I love your site. All is true. I was ruby in the Britt org. for several years. I saw the light in 1999 and could no longer be part of it. My wife is still very active and is going to be rich any day now... ha-ha. We separated in 2000 and are now in divorce proceedings. She could not stay married to loser who did not love his wife and kids enough to build Quixtar.... We were together for 15 years, got two kids, but chose the business over me. So many people in our own group started having marriage problems after getting in the business. When wives are told their husbands don't love them if Quixtar is not built or told to stop having sex with husbands unless you show so many plans per week or something , bad things can only happen. Now being on the outside looking in, I see how powerful mind control can be. All is clear now and I am moving on in life. Many Quixtar couples are living lives of desperation behind closed doors. Keep putting the word out, you are truly doing a great work giving people the true facts about Quixtar. I hope no one else has to lose what I did before they figure it all out

I am a physician who recently attended a seminar for those interested in Quixtar. I immediately realized that the business had a cult-like atmosphere, and was imediately held "suspect" when I asked some very important questions relating to the business and legal aspects of Britt Worldwide. If one is truly an independent business owner, then legal documents should be present and in force in order to transfer your business "ownership" to your heirs in the case of your demise. If the business truly provides the potential to actualize large profits, then independent business owners should be able to protect their investments and have a mechanism to transfer this wealth to their legal designees. I have no interest in working toward building a business that would not allow my children to ultimately reap the benefits of my hard work, but rather would continue to allow the "platinum" guys to continue capitalizing from my sweat equity.

Mama Doc

Scott,

First of all great site! You have very valuable and accurate information.

A suggestion. I believe in the power of numbers. What do you think about creating a list off all Platinums and above who have left the business that you know of. (or at least give an estimated total number at each pin level, if its possible) Example the Team in Focus Diamonds that recently resigned etc. By having a list of names and/or numbers in one place can be very powerful. Helps people see the big picture or see a possible pattern. You can say if this business is so great why are so many "successful" pins leaving the business.

Other possible lists (obvious reasons):
Emeralds and above who are suing over the tools business.
Diamonds and above who have fallen out of qualification.

I don't know if you have this kind of information available or if it would be too formidable to accurately create. Just a suggestion. Please let me know what you think.

Best wishes from a former IBO,

Tim
