Bankrupt WWDB Triple Diamonds
raise just $291,000 in Bankruptcy Auction

GDUNCAN_lg.jpg (22463 bytes)Well I was not on the ball and did not find out about the Duncan Bankruptcy Auction until it was way too late.   All those loyal and faithful WWDB IBOs could have turned up to bid on the possessions of their "multi-millionaire" Amway Global triple diamond as the stuff "went under the hammer".   Summer bargains were no doubt to be had at the summer 2009 Chapter 11 bankruptcy auction of the Duncans' personal property.  Despite claiming assets of over $63 million the Duncans still can't seem to raise the $8.2 million or so needed to pay off their creditors, the court is liquidating their assets to raise money to pay their debts.

As the Duncans slowly loose all their trinkets, which filled their spacious homes, they are still trying to convince the court to move them into Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, which would spare them the forced fire sale of their prized possessions.

The court docket for the bankruptcy is a soap opera in itself.  Not only is their the numerous attempts to put the case back in Chapter 7, but a million dollar loan pdf_icon.gif (914 bytes) bailout from Amway has also come into play to help convince the debtors to move the case out of chapter 11.   The Duncans also moved tens of thousands of personal propertypdf_icon.gif (914 bytes) without permission to their new residence in California which created more items for the court to handle.
