Amway Reacts to Exposure of
Unreleased Product's Bogus Claims.

perfect_water.JPG (6183 bytes)Well there could not be a better match than  Amway distributors trying to market super oxygenated water.   You know it all had to go wrong given the information that was on   the www.drinkperfectwater.com website.   You can't blame the distributor's for their circus-like act that was being performed in hotel rooms all over the country.   There is a funny video bug_video.gif (383 bytes) showing at what length Amway distributor's will go to promote the benefits of their new product.

Amway probably got the embarrassing wake-up call of what was happening in open meetings around the country from the first page on my site about the perfect water.       Sites such as you tube.com were filled with videos touting the health benefits of drinking the perfect water.   Over the Easter weekend however distributors got the call to remove all the videos.  Some of the earlier David Shores videos were removed before the Easter weekend.

You have to wonder where the Amway distributors got the idea for all these stunts for their open meeting.    Well the ideas actually came from the www.drinkperfectwater.com.  I did however save a copy of the shockwave file.   I did this because I could not believe my eyes in what I read.   I knew I had to save this for future reference.     So you can see for yourselves that the distributors were not so creative but actually got these stupid tricks from the perfectwater.com website. The shockwave file has since been replaced, leaving out the silly circus tricks.   Look under the FAQ section and you will see the mention of all these silly tricks that led the whole WWDB line to embarrassment are gone.

What you really have to love is the line that Amway distributor's give you about all these companies doing their due diligence before hooking up with a partner.     If these companies actually did such a thing, how is it that Quixtar's crack attorney's missed such a bogus set of claims on their new partner's website?    I think it goes to show you that there is only superficial due diligence.    Quixtar is probably like all the other companies.   It assumes their partner is ok, until they are told otherwise.   In this case Amway/Quixtar and distributors bet their reputation on Quixtar's endorsement of the partner and it ended up greatly embarrassing them.

I think the existing promotion on the Perfect Water website still makes claims under "Why buy Perfect?"   - Balance, Strength, Flexibility.  I think if I were Quixtar, I would remove that part as well.  Let's see if they do.
