Introduction:    On this page I will show the steps to finish the surface of your  Alien Eye.

The Fimo surface can be finished with wet
sanding and buffing.

1.   300 grit wet sand paper
2.  600 grit wet sand paper
3. 800 grit wet sand paper
4. 1000 or 1200 grit wet sand paper
5.  Polish with denim material
6. buff out with flannel material.

Progressively sand the Fimo with finer and
finer wet sand paper. 

Apply material to beneath the switch and connector
and form it with the material from the mount.

Polish the Fimo first with Denim from a pair of jeans. 

Finish polish with a piece of flannel

Done!  Black lamps can be polished with
black wax like shoe polish (Kiwi brand).
